Thank you for visiting my website. I am a commercial litigator in Nashville, Tennessee.
Before transitioning to law, I worked as a public policy analyst and industry communications strategist in Washington, D.C., where I developed a unique perspective on the commercial challenges and opportunities that clients face. Today, I am a seasoned commercial litigator with extensive experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all aspects of dispute resolution, including state and federal trial and appellate court proceedings, binding arbitration, voluntary mediation, and direct settlement negotiation. My practice focuses on representing health systems, hospitals, and other health care services providers in complex reimbursement disputes with commercial and government-sponsored health benefit plans. I pride myself on aligning legal strategies with clients' business goals and efficiently narrowing disputed issues.
I began my legal career as a law clerk for Chief Judge Sheryl H. Lipman of the United States District Court for the Western District of Tennessee at Memphis, helping Judge Lipman to manage her docket and to preside over six jury trials in a single term.
